Stepahead Carpentry

Stepahead Carpentry has been manufacturing and installing stairs in South East Qld and Northern NSW for over 17 years with it’s own timber factory, steel workshop and showroom.

We are based on Brisbane Southside and have a professional team with years of experience.

Stepahead Carpentry provide services from new/renovated homes and even smaller projects, large unit complexes through to the owner builder and handyman. Our sales team liaise with you as you work through your project to ensure we can fit in with your schedule.

We are also members of Network Builders Pty Ltd and the Housing Industry Association (HIA)

Stepahead Carpentry specialises in custom design staircases and we provide a complete range of timber, wrought iron and glass balustrading from traditional to contemporary to suit commercial, domestic and industrial projects. Room dividers, colonial arches, external fridge work, finials and pillarettes are also available. We are also happy to provide sound advice and guidance with any of your traditional requirements.

Stepahead Carpentry are the choice of many because they know that each job features thoughtful product design, fine workmanship both in assembly and installation, precision turning and detailed finishing.

Stain grade interior works are made from all the popular designer timbers. As you plan your stair you must make decisions. The choice of quality balusters, newels, handrails and accessories is important. You must be certain your stair is designed to meet local building codes.

At Stepahead Carpentry you will be certain to meet all the above requirements. We cover areas from Northern New South Wales to Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast.

All polish-stain grade staircases are installed with protective ply and plastic covering. Easy to assemble kit-form staircases are also available.
